Now you must press “Shift + F8” to access the screen that lets you choose between normal system boot or safe mode.

For those who do not like keyboard shortcuts, there is the option to enable a menu to be displayed at boot time of the system, allowing you to choose between normal loading the OS or with the particulars provided in recovery mode.

Below, you can see all the steps to enable this menu and make the access safe mode of Windows 8 a lot simpler and faster. The whole process is performed using only tools native operating system, eliminating the installation of any external application.

1) Go to the search screen of Windows 8, type the word “cmd” and wait for the result to be displayed.

2) Click the right mouse button on the item that appears at the far left of the screen, choosing “Run as administrator” option, shown at the bottom.
