UTool is a tool that can help you in the daily activities on your computer. The app allows you to adjust a variety of alarms to remind you to perform any kind of activity, and may even wake you if your PC stay on all the time during your sleep. In addition to the alarms, the UTool has an MP3 music player and a list of which can be customized with programs that need to be started together simultaneously.
The UTool has no defined purpose, but can cater for a variety of different things or when you’re not in order to deal with traditional applications to perform the same tasks.
Functions
To use the app, simply run the tool and start exploring the function guides at the top of the window UTool. In “AlarmClok”, you can set a series of alarms and schedule them to wake up every day of the week or just to some of them. There are no limits to how many alarms set and you can not specify names or details for you to remember.
In the “Startup” tab, you can create a list of apps to be started together when you feel necessary. Tap “Add” and choose an app folders in “Program Files” Windows. After creating your list, tap “Start” and you can start them all at the same time.
Review
UTool is a versatile tool, but it is not clear what is the real usefulness of the app. He proposes to make some interesting and unusual activities, but does not perform them efficiently. What I like is the guide of the alarms, which lets you create multiple alarms and schedule them to play according to the day of the week. However, it is not possible to define specifications or descriptions for these alarms, which makes them less useful for day to day as to wake you up, your cell phone is much more functional.
The guide that creates a list of startup is not for absolutely nothing besides conducting speed tests apps. You can put two competing programs in the list and start them at once and see which opens first. Moreover, the list of apps that start when Windows does a more interesting job.
Locking
On the tab that plays MP3, it is extremely limited and anti-intuitive. If you use the “OpenFile” button, it would be natural to open audio files and play them, nothing happens. If you tap the “Play” without having some music in the run queue, the program just hangs. Also, the volume control is terrible and has no sensitivity proportional to the size of the bar that you use the interface to control this feature.
Finally, we can say that, unless you have no other option to wake you up on time in the morning, not worth using UTool.
