Easy WiFi is an application that turns your computer into a wireless router, allowing you to share your internet connection with other devices.
The program generates a network signal from the personal computer and allows you to define a new configuration for the use of the data traffic of your internet server.
To run the Easy Wi-Fi must be upgraded with the WLAN driver and for Windows 7 and Vista with. NET Framework 4.5 installed.
The application automatically retrieves detailed network information (name of the device, security key, authentication method, security key usage) and generates traffic statistics.
Defining access and internet connection
When you open the Easy Wi-Fi, you have the main page the detailed information of your wireless network. The window shows the statistics of data traffic in bytes sent and received, and the number of customers connected through this network. Security settings appear last, showing the authentication protocol and password setting.
From this, you can create a subnet with a new account and make your computer a router, relaying the wireless signal under a new security protocol. For this, you must use the tab “Create / Modify” to set the name of the subnet and password to connect to other devices and appliances.
To quickly disconnect the connection, simply interroper the hotspot by clicking the “Off” at the bottom of the program window. The network configuration remains saved on the computer to be reused. To definitively exclude this option, use the panel network settings of your Windows system.
